She launched Seklab to fill a critical gap in New York City’s color-analysis scene—particularly for people of color—and has since guided over 4,000 clients toward palettes that celebrate their unique tones and styles. Jenny holds a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City—where she built a solid foundation in color theory, aesthetics, and the art of storytelling. Personable, on-trend, and deeply considerate, Jenny offers inclusive guidance that celebrates the beauty of every skin tone. With a background in performance, Kate brings an artistic eye and a deep appreciation for storytelling to every consultation–and a guaranteed laugh or two! Whether it is in the studio or on the stage, Kate lives a life fueled by her passion for human connection and self-expression. Before moving to New York City, Kate studied at the University of Michigan where she received her Bachelors in Fine Arts. She has always had a love for the visual, creative, and performative arts, and is grateful for the incredible education she received at such a prestigious institution. Kate loves guiding her clients through the color analysis process, because self-expression should be fun, not stressful!
